Joan M. Lucarelli
Joan
is a Managing Director of the Gilbert Tweed
a top 40 retained executive search firm. Joan's practice focuses
in high technology and financial services. Her practice focuses
on senior executive and board assignments where she has successfully
completed senior management assignments in high technology,
financial services and the consulting industry, for companies
such as: Hewlett-Packard, Platinum technology, Fidelity Investments,
The Monitor Company, IDG/IDC, PictureTel, Forum Corporation,
Webline, and StagNetworks among others.
Prior
to joining Gilbert Tweed Ms. Lucarelli was
a Managing Director for a National Executive Search Firm and
was a Senior Consultant with HRR, Inc.( now TASA International)
a regional recruiting firm. She conducted searches on a national
basis for clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.
Before
joining the executive search profession, Ms. Lucarelli was
a Director/Bank Officer at Boston Five Cent Savings Bank where
she managed an $850 million multiple branch system and successfully
implemented a change management culture for this $2.5 billion
financial institution. She designed and implemented successful
sales, strategic marketing, and divestiture initiatives for
the retail division resulting in increased profits and revenues.
Earlier she held the position of Vice President for two consulting
firms specializing in marketing, sales and financial assignments
providing key strategic, market, and profit direction to companies
in various industries including high technology.
Ms.
Lucarelli has served as Adjunct Professor of Marketing at
Boston University's Graduate School of Management and as Adjunct
Professor of Finance at Bentley College's Graduate School
of Management. Ms. Lucarelli holds a Masters in Finance from
Bentley College and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Regis
College. Ms. Lucarelli is past President of the Boston Human
Resources Association, a member of the Board of Trustees of
Mount Saint Joseph Academy, is on the Board of Directors of
the New England Chapter of the National Association of Corporate
Directors, and is a member of The Boston Club.
